lung meridian

The Lung Meridian also known as LU , Starts with LU 1. LU 1 is level with the spine, between the first and second ribs and 6 cun from the midline. The Meridian ends at LU 11 which is located on the outside of the thumb and the tip.
LU 1 Located 2 cun below LU2
Great for treating cough, and chesty colds.
LU 2 Located in the depression under the collar bone 6 cun from the chest midline. Also great for treating cough.
LU 9 Located on the radial side of the wrist crease. Great point to treat athsma, cough, wrist pain, sore throat and arm pain.
LU 11 Located on the outside of the thumb on the tip. Indications for this point are fever, fainting, restores consciousness, calms the mind, clears heat.
The Lung Meridian controls breathing and energy. The Lungs take in pure Qi and breathes out impure Qi. The Lungs also influence the production of urine. The emotion associated with the Lungs is grief.
