REN MERIDIAN

The Ren Meridian is also known as the Conception Vessel or CV. Starts at CV 1 and ends at CV 24.
Do not use CV 3 and CV 4 during pregnancy
CV 1 location: midway between the anus and genitals. This point is not used often because of its location. CV 2 and CV 3 have similar benefits.
CV 3 location: 1 cun above pubic bone. Benefits including treatment of urine retention, impotence, irregular menstration, and reproductive problems.
CV 6 location: 1.5 cun below navel. Intensifies Qi function throughout the body, treats prolapse of internal organs, kidney weakness, and all Qi deficiencies.
CV 12 location: 4 cun above navel. Treats gastric pain, vomiting, nausea, and hiccups.
CV 17 location: on the sternum level with the space between the 4th and 5th ribs. Works great for cardiac pain, chest pain, asthma and coughing. Has a calming effect.
This meridian plays a huge role in qi circulation. The meridian forms a circular entity with the Governing Vessel.
