shine control powder

This one is more of a tip rather than a recipe. I have been using this for quite some time now. I don't always like using powder foundation as it looks "caked" on with me or even dry. I usually use a form of mousse or liquid. I feel it has great coverage and doesnt look dull. Living in a warmer climate, summertime makeup can be difficult during the warmer times. It can look greasy real quick especially if your wearing liquid foundation. After looking at shine control powders I wasn't a fan. I can not remember where I heard or saw it, but someone told me about corn starch. For someone on a budget this is a great way to get the shine under control with something you probably already have in your kitchen.

Corn starch

I will say this, a little goes a long way! Using too much can make you look like a ghost :) put a small amount on a big brush (I usually lightly dust off excess) and lightly dust all over face or in needed areas. Some common areas that I use it in is the T-zone and sometimes my cheeks.

I wouldn't recommend putting this around the eyes as it can have that caked on look I was mentioning before, which doesn't look the best!
