triple Heater meridian

Triple heater is also known as Triple Burner or Sanjiao Meridian. The short forms are TH, TB or SJ.  Triple Heater Meridian starts at TB 1 and ends at TB 23.

 

 

TB 1 location: on the 4th finger on the outside just behind the nail. This point is great for alleviating pain, clears upper burner heat, benefits ears and tongue, and activates meridian.

 

TB 5 location: on the opposite side of the forearm to PC 6. 2 cun up from the wrist crease on the back of the wrist. Between the radius and ulna. This point is great for shoulder pain, numbness in 4th finger and lateral headache.

 

TB 10 location:  1 cun above the elbow bone in a depression. This point treats elbow pain, epilepsy and sore throat.

 

TB 23 location:  in depression at the end of the eyebrow. This point is great for headaches, dizziness, facial paralysis, conjunctivitis.
