urinary bladder meridian

 

 

The Urinary Bladder Meridian, also known as UB or BL, starts at UB 1 and ends at UB 67.

 

UB 1 location: In he depression, 0.1 cun above the inner canthus of the eye. This point is great for itching of the canthus, color blindness, myopia, glaucoma.

 

UB 2 location: Inner end of the eyebrow, directly above the inner canthus of the eye. This point is great for blurry vision, headache, myopia, facial paralysis.

 

UB 10 location: just below the base of the skull 1.3 cun to the side of the midline. This point is great for headache, occipital headache, hysteria, nasal obstruction.

 

UB 11 location: Level with the lower border of the spinous process of the thoracic vertebra 1, 1.5 cun from the midline. This point is used for headache, arthritis, cough, common cold, pneumonia.

 

UB 17 location: level with the lower border of the spinous process of the thoracic vertebra 7, 1.5 cun from the midline. This point is best used for vomiting, night sweating, asthma, and cough.

 

UB 23 location: level with the lower margin of lumbar vertebra 2, 1.5 cun from the midline. This point is used for enchancing Kidney function, chronic lower back pain, ear problems like tinnitus and poor hearing, and also anemia.

 

UB 26 location: level with lumbar 5, 1.5 cun from midline. This point is great for low back pain, diabetes and anemia.

 

UB 37 location: on the midline of the back of the thigh, halfway between BL 36 and knee crease. This point is great for low back pain, pain in thighs, sciatica, and occiptal headache.

 

UB 57 location: just below the point where the two sides of the calf muscle meet. This point is great for low back pain, paralysis of legs, sciatica, leg pain and constipation.

 

UB 60 location: In the depression between the outer ankle bone and Achilles tendon. This point is great for headaches, neck rigidity, siezures in children, sciatica and heel problems.

 

UB 67 location: outer edge of the pinky toe just behind the nail. This is a point used for strokes, headache, and difficult labor.

 

The Urinary Bladder channel is the longest and most complex. Negative attitudes are a result in an imbalance of the UB Meridian. When balanced, we are looking forward, were calm and peaceful.
